Explore the history through the Ancient 16th-century Water Mill, nestled in the heart of the Loire Valley castles region, between the magnificent sites of Chaumont-sur-Loire and Amboise.
Els and Serge welcome you to a magnificent water mill dating back to the 10th century. The Moulin de Pasnel became part of Serge's life in the 1960s when his grandparents lived there, and his mother grew up in this charming place. After its sale in the early 1970s, their fascination and attachment to this location remained unwavering.
During one of their visits to the region in 2019, they met Pascal and Stéphanie, who had transformed the mill into a bed and breakfast and were looking to retire, hoping to leave the estate in good hands.
A year later, despite the many restrictions of 2020, everything fell into place. Destiny aligned all the elements perfectly, and we decided to take the leap. We left Belgium to settle here and take care of the estate and our guests!
